Challenge.

Educate, Inform

Supporting Chrysler and creation of these interactive applications was quite challenging considering the amount of time the group had to deliver as well as the multiple show locations across Canada. One of the most challenging pieces in the overall design and testing was to bypass Apple’s application provisioning process as it would make it impossible to approve 30 apps in less than 2 months. That’s where Adobe Flex came into the picture and a 3rd party conversion to Objective C.

Solution.

Interactive Engagement

Chrysler’s new interactive touchscreen solutions that were successfully piloted with all-new Jeep, Fiat, Chrysler, Dodge, and Ram vehicles at Canada’s Chrysler Auto Show is now available to all exhibitors in the automotive industry.

The interactive touch experience with a mixture of static and animated content allows all Chrysler vehicle enthusiasts and future shoppers to find out more about new vehicles coming to the market. The overall project consisted of powering nearly 30 interactive touchscreens placed on wheel stands in Chrysler, Jeep, Dodge, Ram, and Fiat’s booths. Most of the development for tablets has been done in Flex with a few exceptions with Objective C. On the project management and delivery side, teams have been running the overall implementation in a Hybrid Agile/Waterfall execution in order to meet the tight show timelines and on-going client requests.
