The Bell Media universe is ever-expanding, spanning a variety of web properties that range from small radio stations to major television network sites.Bell Media ranks first among all Canadian broadcast and video network competitors and is also a leader in TV Everywhere with the company’s innovative GO video streaming service. Within Bell’s Ad Sales, Bell found that it required a website redesign for their Ad service offers, particularly under a consistent brand umbrella, was a challenge. Online technologies for each property, and a dependency on multiple digital agencies made the technical maintenance and updating of the content difficult and cumbersome.

Solution.

Centralized Hub

With speed of deployment and simplicity of use in mind, a common web platform powered by WordPress was built. At the core of the platform is a completely customizable, reusable website template. The template empowers Bell Media to quickly implement a feature-rich, uniquely branded, and consistent online experience for each of their services, whatever the size or budget. The web platform also allows easily to create and manage a wide array of content such as photos, videos, blogs and more.

The overall project management delivery consisted of partial Waterfall and Agile practices which our network executed. Daily development and creative stand ups combined with weekly stakeholder check-ins allowed smooth implementation with minimal risks.
